Zehnder MVHR filters
On this page you will find all WTW filters for systems of the brand Zehnder. It is important to check and replace the filters of your heat recovery system regularly. With polluted filters the air quality in your house will strongly deteriorate and your ventilation system will not function properly anymore. Therefore, choose a filter (set) that fits your type of unit quickly and make sure that the good air quality is maintained!
When selecting a MVHR filter, it is important to choose one that fits your system. With us you can always see for which ventilation systems each filter is suitable. It is also smart to always compare the dimensions of the filters with the dimensions of your current filters.
Slip case or wash cloth model?
There are two filters available for the Zehnder Optifor MVHR: one in a slipcover model and one in a washcover model. But which one do you need? If your Zehnder Optifor unit was issued after week 41 of 2001, you need the slipcover model. If your Zehnder Optifor unit was issued before week 41 of 2001, you will need the wash cloth model.

New regulation for MVHR filters: ISO16890
Since August 2018, the filter standard has changed. The quality of the filters is no longer indicated with G3, M5 or F7 but with the new ISO16890 standard. With this new standard, the quality of MVHR filters can be indicated much better and this also provides more clarity for the customer. In the new regulations, the following values per filter are indicated:
- ISO Coarse - percentage of coarse dust retained by the filter.
- ISO ePM1 - percentage of fine dust ( < 1 µm ) retained by the filter.
- ISO ePM2,5 - percentage of fine dust ( < 2,5 µm ) retained by the filter.
- ISO ePM10 - percentage of fine dust ( < 10 µm ) retained by the filter.
Compare old and new standard MVHR filters

In the table below we have compared the terms in order to give a better idea of the different filter classes. Please note: This is an estimate and the values may vary slightly.
Filter class | ISO Coarse | ISO ePM10 | ISO ePM2,5 | ISO ePM1 |
